Before you start
Do I need a credit card for the trial?
No. Create an account and use everything for 7 days. If you want to keep going, add a payment method before the trial ends. If you don't, your account simply pauses and nothing is charged.
Can I use it instead of learning the E6B?
You still need to know your E6B for the written and the checkride. FlightPlanner does the math for every planning session after that, and it's a quick way to check your hand-worked nav log.
Where does the data come from?
FAA VFR sectional charts, aviationweather.gov for METARs, TAFs and winds aloft, and the FAA's terminal procedures for airport charts. It's for planning: always check official sources before you fly.
Does it work on my phone or iPad?
Yes. It runs in the browser on phone, tablet and computer, and your saved plans follow you between devices.
How do I cancel?
